The WITBC 2010 conference will be held in beautiful Eastern Taiwan, in the National Museum of Prehistory, which falls under the Ministry of Education. The Museum opened to the public on August 17th, 2002 and is the first national museum to focus on prehistoric and indigenous cultures and also includes a modern indigenous museum, an archaeological site and an ecological park, all of which are located on the east coast of Taiwan. The National Museum of Prehistory does not only mainly focus on research, collection, display and education, but also on social education, culture preservation, educational research and leisure. The National Museum of Prehistory is one of the organizers of WITBC 2010.
